I had seen some people make a tuna salad out of chickpeas, but that didn’t sound like something I would like to make so improved it!
Tempeh has a fishy taste in my opinion so I thought that would be a better option, and it turned out great! My family loved this “tuna” salad.

This vegan tuna salad is a great option for your next picknick! Quick and easy to make plus super delish ????.

Grab a big bowl and start shredding your tempeh. You can use a fork to do this.

Add in all the remaining ingredients: onion, celery, tomatoes, carrots, olives, jalapeño, pickles, mais (if using), vegan mayo, lemon juice, black pepper, salt and capers.

Mix well, do a taste test and adjust if needed by adding more salt, mayo or as you wish.

Serve on some tostadas or crackers and enjoy!
