This Vegan Tuna is simply spectacular. It’s so easy to make and tastes remarkably close to actual tuna, no really it does. This recipe is part of our Vegan Spreads E-Book, which you should definitely check out.

The texture isn’t very tuna-like at all. But the taste is so good, you won’t mind. This is really delicious served on slices of bread with lettuce and sliced tomato and a generous amount of vegan tuna on top! It’s also divine served on crackers. 

Leftovers keep very well in a covered container in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Vegan Tuna Salad

  1. Shred tempeh into tiny pieces.

  2. Transfer the tempeh to a bowl and add a finely chopped nori sheet, onion, capers and a generous amount of vegan mayo. Add lemon juice, garlic powder, nutritional yeast, mustard, black pepper, soy sauce and vegetable broth to taste, mix well and that's it.
