Shawarma is one of those comfort everyone has when they go out to party, right? Well, what if I told you that you’ll crave it even more now, but vegan: Vegan Shawarma made with Tofu!
It’s actually quick and easy to make, and I also made this version but with shiitake mushrooms which is just as amazing ????.
As a sauce, you make sure to make our vegan mayonnaise recipes, and if you want to go even extra make our pickled onions, the go so good with it.

In a small bowl, combine the mustard, soy sauce, olive oil and all the spices. Mix well and set aside.

Heat up a pan with some oil, add in the chopped onion and garlic, let sauté for a few minutes.

Meanwhile, grate your tofu, then add it in as well followed by the sauce we made.

Mix well and let cook for about 5-10 minutes.

Heat up a tortilla, serve and enjoy!
