With tortillas or if you want to eat less carb, lettuce is a great option; lettuce tacos.

Since the tofu is dried in the oven and most of its water has evaporated, it’s packed with plant protein. 💪🏽

Instructions

  1. Bake

    Slice your tofu and bake it for 40 minutes on 180 C/350 F.

  2. The sauce

    Continue with making the sauce, add te tomato, water and garlic to a blender and blitz until smooth.

    Now in a pan on medium heat add some oil and sauté the onion for about 10 minutes, until brownish.

    Once sautéed, add the vegetable broth, tomato sauce and chipotle. Mix well and add the baked tofu. Let simmer for 10 minutes.

    Add the sauce to the onions

  3. Top it

    Now serve your tinga on some mais tortillas with your favorite toppings!
