Vegan Smoked Bell Pepper Pasta, Easy Pasta Recipe

This vegan smoked paprika pasta recipe is outstanding! So easy, definitely one of my favorite pasta variations.

The tofu is optional, but I do strongly recommend you use some kind of protein source to make it a wholesome meal.

Also, when cooking pasta make sure to always use whole grain pasta as it contains all the nutrients that have been removed from the regular pasta.

Off On

The tofu

  1. Slice and bake

    Cut your tofu into squares and bake for 40 minutes on 350 F180 C.

The sauce

  1. Bake

    Same for the bell pepper, garlic and onion. Cut in big pieces and bake 50 minutes on 390 F200 C. If you only have one oven just add it with the tofu and leave it a bit longer, until there is a lightly burned edge.

  2. Combine and blend

    Once done, combine the following and blend:

    • The baked bell pepper, onion and garlic.
    • Almond milk.
    • Olive oil.
    • Nutritional yeast.
    • Corn starch.
    • Chili flakes.
    • Vegetable broth.
    • Black pepper.

Combine tofu, sauce and pasta

  1. Once blended pour the sauce into a large pan and add the baked the tofu. Let simmer for 5 minutes.

  2. Finally, add your cooked pasta, mix, serve and top with chives if you like that ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜‹.
