Here’s how to make vegan salmon… I mean, is there anything you can not veganize? I still have to find out! It’s really crazy how well this resembles salmon.

I think this recipe is great as an appetizer, make it the next time you have some none vegan friends coming over and don’t tell them its vegan salmon made from carrots, they won’t believe it.

How to make vegan salmon recipe (with carrots!)

  1. Preheat your oven to 180C/350F.

  2. Peel your carrots (optional) and add some salt onto them. Transfer to the oven and let bake for 30-40 minutes.

  3. Start making the marinade: to a small bowl add your chopped nori, the hot water, soy sauce, maple syrup, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, black pepper, and mix it thoroughly.

  4. Once the carrots have been baked, slice them thinly, transfer the marinade onto them and let them sit overnight in the fridge.

  5. Top a cracker with some sour cream, the salmon, chives and enjoy!
