These vegan sausages are so good!
They have the perfect ‘meaty’ texture and heaps of flavor.
They’re also really easy to make.
Protein Packed Vegan Sausage with vital wheat gluten/seitan
Plant based sausage, great for the BBQ and in a vegan hot dog.
Combine all the ingredients except the vital wheat gluten in a food processor and mix well.
Transfer into a bowl and add the vital wheat gluten and combine well with a spoon.
Now get in there with your hands and form it into a dough. Don’t knead it. You just want it to be mixed and formed into a dough
Cut the dough into 6 equal pieces and roll into sausages.
Wet your hands to make is easier.
Roll in baking paper and aluminum foil and steam for 20 minutes.
Ready to use on your BBQ or bake in a pan with some oil.
