From leftovers to delicousness!

  • 1/2 cup Aquafaba (Liquid from 1 can of chickpeas)
  • 80 grams Sugar (Granulated, ad gradually and taste to see if it needs more)
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Cream of tartar (Optional, I didn't use it and turned out great but most recipes do)
  1. Start whipping up the aquafaba and add the tartar if using. You will need to it for a while, I did it about 30 minutes. It must be really stiff.

  2. Start adding in sugar and the vanilla once fully whipped and whip for another 5 minutes.

  3. Bake 45 minutes on 120C/250F. Turn oven off after 45 minutes, but don't open it! Leave the meringue in there for another 60 minutes without opening.

  4. Enjoy!
