Vegan tofish sticks for the fish lovers!

  1. Start by pressing your tofu with The Bgang tofu press of course ;). Click the link in our bio to get it.

  2. Then start by creating the marinade: combine the miso, hot water, soy sauce and nori sheets. Mix everything well. 

  3. After your tofu pressed for about 15-20 minutes (the longer, the better), slice it up into large strips (see video below).

  4. Let marinate for about 10 minutes, mean while prepare three plates: 

    • One with soy milk
    • One with flour (if you want, you can season in with some extra salt and spices)
    • Another one with breadcrumbs

  5. When the tofu is done marinating, dip it into plates in the following order:

    1. Flour
    2. Soy milk
    3. Panko breadcrumbs (make sure they are well coated)

  6. Now fry them on every side in a hot pan with some oil until browned (about 10 minutes total).

  7. Enjoy with a sauce you like, and if you got some leftover marinade, use it as a dip!
