Soak the cashews for +10 minutes in hot water.

Boil the peeled and dice potatoes and carrots in salted water for 12-15 minutes.
Depending on the size, more or less. -
Add the potatoes and carrots to a blender and add 1 cup of the broth as well. Add the drained soaked cashews, nutritional yeast, lemon juice, salt,garlic powder, paprika powder and cayenne pepper.
Blend until smooth.
