Okay, this recipe is just out of this world tbh… Before I was vegan, I would make exactly the same recipe but with salmon. I can tell you I don’t miss it at all, as the sauce does ✨ magic ✨ to your tofu!
Because tofu acts like a sponge, it’s important you get out the tasteless water so it can soak up as much marinate as possible.

Start by pressing your tofu, the longer the better, if you can do it overnight it will be perfect. But, 15-20 minutes should do the job.
Combine all the ingredients (except tofu) into a small mixing bowl and mix well.
Cut up the tofu in strips (not too thin, not too thick), transfer into a big casserole and pour over the sauce.
Let marinate for an hour, so you give the tofu some time to soak up the falvours.
Bake for 20-30 minutes, there will be some sauce over which you can pour over your dish ????????.
