This is a standard Ashkenazi (Eastern European) Charoset recipe, this may say nothing to you, but it’s basically a delicious Sweet Vegan Spread.

It contains a little of sweet red wine, it’s up to you if you want to take it out and swap it with grape juice (take kids into consideration). Without the wine it still tastes spectacular.

You can either use pear or apple juice, whatever is okay.

  1. Peel the apples and take the core out, don't forget to pit the dates.

    Add all the ingredients in a food processor (or  a blender). Take note that the amount of liquid you need may vary to the consistency you want.

    Blend everything together, the texture is up to you, I like it to be a bit chunky.
