This Vegan Salty Coconut Sauce is phenomenal!

It tastes great with a ton of different dishes, with broccoli, potatoes, leek, mushrooms,… or with these Vegan Swedish Meatballs.

I am fairly certain your whole family will love this sauce, herbivores and omnivores alike. Maybe even carnivores. You wonโ€™t regret it! This vegan Salty Coconut Sauce is THE BEST!

Off On

  1. Add the coconut oil and flour to a sauce pan. Make a roux by whisking the flour and oil, so they form a paste.ย 

  2. Now whisk in the vegetable broth, coconut milk, mustard, vinegar and black pepper. Whisk until fully combined. Bring heat up to medium and bring to a simmer, so there are little bubbles. Simmer, reducing heat if needed, until the sauce gets nice and thick. It should take 2-4 minutes.ย
