These Salted Caramel Chocolate Bars are sweet treats that are surprisingly healthy! Gluten-free, refined sugar-free & raw, the dates give this caramel the most amazing flavour accompanied by a biscuity nutty base… YUMMY!

For the base, you can use whatever nuts you like, it will always taste great.

Salted Caramel Chocolate Bars

  1. In a blender or food processor, blend pecan and macadamia nuts until fine. Combine this in a bowl with almond flour, peanut butter, coconut oil and agave syrup. Place this in a rectangular casserole on top of baking paper and compact it by pressing on it.

  2. Blend dates, dairy-free milk, water, vanilla extract, salt and coconut oil together until smooth. Spread this salted caramel mix on top of the nut bottom and place in the freezer for a few hours.

  3. Take the baking paper carefully out of the casserole, so it doesn't break. Cut it in to pieces and place a pecan nut on top of every piece, and coat with chocolate.

  4. Store in the freezer because else they will melt.
