Rinse the red lentils and place in a blender. Add the 3 cups of water.

Blend until very smooth.

Add it to a sauce pan and mix, if needed add more water. Optionally, add salt and mix.

Whisk over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes until the mixture is VERY THICK.

Place the batter in the BGANG tofu press for firmest texture. Smoothen the top and apply pressure.

Let cool down until firm.
Omg I made the 1 ingredient lentil tofu & added my own seasoning. After I took it out the refrigerator, I breaded it in cornstarch & more seasoning & fried it.
I would of taken a picture, but I ate it off the napkin that I put them on out of the pan!!!! Delicious with a homemade dip. Thank you for this amazing recipe.
