This is a super simple recipe, great meal prep option! Red lentils dahl with a red cabbage salad along with some black rice.
I get asked pretty often why we use black rice over just regular rice or whole wheat rice.
The reason for this is that the number of nutrients in black and red rice are higher. It also contains many antioxidants.

Cook and season
- Grab a pot, pour in some oil and add the minced ginger. Let fry for a few minutes.
- Add your red lentils and ratio 1:3 of water. Add broth, turmeric powder and let boil until soft (15 minutes). Once done boiling add the spinach
- If you like it spicy, add some red chili pepper

Black rice

Cook and add vegetable broth
Cook the black rice in ratio 1:3 with water, add some broth.
The red cabbage salad ????

Season and combine
- Slice the kale fine and add it to a big bowl
- Cut the apple
into squares and add to the bowl
- Chop some cilantro, add it
- Pour in a bit of olive oil, your lemon juice and add some salt and pepper.
- Now stir everything
