Chop the ripe tomatoes into cubes and mice your garlic. Add it to a big bowl together with chopped fresh basil, olive oil, salt, black pepper and chili flakes if wanted, to taste. Let sit for 30 minutes.

Cook pasta, preferably, whole wheat, in salted water.

Add the cooked pasta to the Salsa Cruda and enjoy with a protein source of your choice, we like to have this with pesto tofu.

Pesto Tofu: Crumble tofu into small pieces, add pesto and salt to taste. Cook until ready.
