Mexican Pickled Onions

These pickled onions with Mexican dried oregano is a killer! I love to make it, super easy and goes well with almost everything.

It’s great to have these stored in your fridge and just top your foods with these to give extra flavour.

Difficulty: Beginner Prep Time 10 min Rest Time 20 min Total Time 30 mins Servings: 1 Best Season: Suitable throughout the year


Pickled onions are great as a topping and flavour booster for almost anything!



Off On

  1. Combine

    Add the sliced onion πŸ§… to a bowl and add the juice of one lemon πŸ‹.

    Now add in the remaining spices and stir well.

  2. Pickle

    Let pickle for atleast 20 minutes.


These are great in a spinach salad, on taco’s or in burritos, in buddha bowl… you name it! Be creative πŸ˜‰.
