This Vegan Vegetable Lo Mein with Tofu is super versatile, easy and quick to throw together, and will be on the table in 20 minutes!

To get the best out of this dish, you need to press your tofu with The Bgang Tofu Press. So your tofu can absorb as much flavour as possible and get the best texture you’ve always been waiting for in your vegan meals.

Tofu can be very bland and soft. But by pressing your tofu, more flavor gets into it and the texture becomes more ‘meat alike’ aka firm. It’s the best!

  1. If you want to press your tofu, do this from beforehand. For +15 minutes.

  2. Season your tofu with soy sauce, garlic powder and smoked paprika or curry. Bake for 20-30 minutes on 180C/350F.

  3. Make the vegetable stir fry. Start by sautΓ©ing onion and garlic in coconut oil.

  4. Then add all the vegetables; mushrooms, carrots, bell pepper and broccoli. Add a bit of veg broth.

  5. Cook noodles and in a bowl combine rice vinegar, soy sauce, sriracha, sesame oil and hot water. Stir and add to the veg stir fry along with the cooked noodles.

  6. Yummy ????, enjoy with some scallions and roasted peanuts. ????
