These Chocolate Banana Muffins are so moist and full of flavor!

We have looked at dozens of recipes and most had too much sugar for my liking. There is absolutely no need for a lot of sugar to make these muffins delicious. Because they have bananas and vegan chocolate chips, we just added 1/2 cup of sugar, which turned out perfect!

  1. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F and combine 1 tbs of flax-meal with 3 tbs of hot water and let sit for +15 minutes.

  2. In a bowl combine the flour, salt, sugar, baking powder, vanilla extract, flax-egg and sunflower oil.

  3. In a second bowl mash 2 ripe bananas and add the baking soda dissolved a boiling tsp of water, dark chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.

  4. Combine the two bowls and fill muffin tins,Β be aware that these muffins do grow while baking.

    Bake for 18 minutes.
