Red lentils tofu, it is POSSIBLE!

  • 3 cups Boiling Water
  • 3/4 cups Red Lentils
  • 1 teaspoon Salt (optional, to taste)
  1. Rinse the red lentils and place in a blender. Add the 3 cups of water.

  2. Blend until very smooth.

  3. Add it to a sauce pan and mix, if needed add more water. Optionally, add salt and mix. 

  4. Whisk over medium-high heat for 6 to 8 minutes until the mixture is VERY THICK.

  5. Place the batter in the BGANG tofu press for firmest texture. Smoothen the top and apply pressure.

  6. Let cool down until firm.
